HH to Whoopie Slings?

I want to convert my HH suspension to Whoopie Slings. Any suggestions for how to do it?

I could simply tie loops in the HH lines at the hammock ends, cut off the excess and Larkspur the Whoopies to them. Or cut the HH line just above the existing loops buried under the end sleeves. Or untie(?) the HH lines and tie the Whoopies in.

All ideas are welcome!

This is how I did mine. The closed loop on the slings I used is too short to the adjuster. Opie makes new style for HH

I converted 2 out 3 of my HHs. Would have done the third but ran out of amsteel.
It was A LOT easier than I thought it would be.

Do it! You will wish you had done it sooner.

I just got into hammock camping a few weeks ago - bought a HH Exped and after reading/studying the information and videos here I just jumped in and converted to whoopie slings DIY all the way. It was unbelievably easy. Just follow the excellent step-by-step process shown in Ken's video and thread. The information on this forum is excellent - lots of very knowledgable folks willing to help.
