Improved Soft Shackles

Animated knots has the original soft shackles and improved soft shackles. I just used up the last of my amsteel to make a pair of the improved ones. They seem quite nice. Thank goodness another hundred feet of Amsteel is on the way.

But they don't have the one that has gotten a lot of popularity recently, it is stronger, and you don't have to learn to do a diamond knot! It was developed by Beth & Evan and published on their (now defunct) website, luckily the site can still be found on the internet archive,

+1 on Tacblades' video. I've followed it to make improved soft shackles that I'm currently using to hang my bridge hammock. It's a concise well-shot video.
