I agree completely! Especially when there is a PERFECTLY good path right around the corner!

That was a fantastic waterfall! Even if the method of getting there was a little unconventional. Loved every minute!

    Group hang tarp?

Does anyone have a super large tarp for the group hang just in case it rains like last year? We used the biggest tarp I have and it was just to small last year, we got wet around the sides. I'm pretty sure it's a 24x12 or maybe a 30x12? But it's just not wide enough. I've been looking on EBay and we can get a heavy duty sliver and brown tarp 30x30 for around $70.00 or maybe bigger or smaller? My length on the tarp was good but the width was not.

My question is for everyone that comes to the hang each year, Do we want to all chip in and purchase a Sipsey Hang tarp ??? If so maybe someone from Moulton or Decatur that lives near by can be the keeper.

If we don't get enough folks to volunteer to help purchase one then no problem! Maybe someone will have one to bring? Just in case!

That’s a good idea, Thomas. I’d chip in for a common area tarp. Just don’t ask me to help put it up. My hanging skills are only enhanced by my vertical challenges.

If you decide to get one, I’ll donate to the cause.

I'll also chip in to the cause if we need a larger tarp.

I'll pitch in. Can anyone figure out a way to get the water to not collect on the edges? That was a shockingly cold experience!

Unfortunately, I will be out of town that weekend and won't be able to make it to the hang.
