    10.5' hammock

    Pretty much always plenty of rain protection. I also can cheat the hammock towards one end or the other, if need be, and use Tato's adjustable tie outs to make doors and close off one end or the other to block drafts or blowing rain....without carrying doors. Thanks Shug

    But mostly it just seems to make a very nice Porch Mode. Even in the rain, if it's not too cold and isn't blowing much, often times you can get away w/o battening down the hatches all the way. It's much better being out of the weather and protected, and not walled up in a tent or shelter. The additional Oz weight penalty here is acceptable for me.
