    Toggle with 10" continuous loop

I made a set of toggles with a 10" continuous loop through them. I plan on using them as the "spike" in my marline spike hitch for my suspension and my bear bag hung in the PCT method.

They are made out of the tent pole repair kit and 30 inches of 7/64 amsteel.

Looks real nice, Hornca. I use 5/8" OD x 4" PEX with a small lanyard. I need to cut it down to 3".

Is the loop just for easy removal or do you have another use for it?

Mostly for easy removal. My first version had mason line with a knot completing the loop; I got a little ambitious with the amsteel continuous loop. I use the marlin spike hitch on my bear bag as well, and quite often the 550 cord would cinch down pretty tight when it was wet. I also figure I can contain the toggles nicely if needed by clipping them to my pack with a small s-hook or something.
