My new suspension, what do you think?

    Hey

Im new to this forum, but i have been sleeping in my Hennessey Hammock Zip for the last three years.
I enjoy trying to improve it and making minor changes every season.

Now i thought id try a new suspension where i only use Webbings.
I have invested in about 3 meters long webbings for each side.
    These: https://www.extremtextil.de/en/webbi...mm-strong.html
I went with the color white so i can see them well in the dark.

Then i have made a loop at the end of the webbing and attached a carabineer.
This is what will go around a tree and carabineer locks back into the webbing.

Then at the hammock i took the Hennessey´s original cord and and shortened it and attached a buckle
    This: https://www.extremtextil.de/en/buckl...-anodised.html

Here are some pictures of how i attached the cord to the hammock and then to the buckle.
All is tied together (3 ends) into a figure eight.

Then i just attach the buckle to the webbing.
Idea is to just keep everything together and all i need is to wrap the webbing around a tree and adjust
the webbing length with the buckle. Should be a simple setup of the hammock.

Considering doing something similar but with smaller buckles for my tarp.

So far i have not yet tested this out.
But hopefully it will work Great

Strength wise everything should be good
Webbing is rated to 750 dan
Original cord from Hennessey i do not know what it is rated to... but should be enough!
The buckle i do not know either... but i´ve seen others use these.
Carabineer is a climbing carabineer and is rated well over what i need.

Im happy to hear your thoughts and if you have any ideas of improvements etc.

I use a similar system but omit the hardware- just knots.
