How I roll up an adjustable asym PBH to make it easier to set up, hopefully

This hammock is for Squidmark because of his work with clews to make underquilts fit. I'm posting in DIY because I can upload pictures directly here, and I can't in a PM. Also, others (Jellyfish, Dutch, FIMB, Gargoyle, Grizz, Gringo, DetailMan, etc.) may find the general idea, if not the specific details, which aren't new, interesting.

This hammock stems from my green adjustable bridge hammock with small whoopie slings (clews) along both sides. This one adjusts on one side only - hence "asym".
    P1040449 (1024x768).jpg Foot end
    P1040448 (1024x768) (2).jpg Head end

When disassembled for transport, the clews along the side can easily get tangled with the suspension triangles, main suspension whoopies, and ridge line. That makes installing the spreader bars difficult, so I have chosen to leave the spreader bar ends in their respective pockets, and I've used color-coded parts, as illustrated below. I'll roll up the whole thing and send it off tomorrow. (Good luck, Squidmark. )

P1040450 (1024x768).jpg Foot end main suspension is blue amsteel. So is the softshackle that attaches it to the black amsteel suspension triangle pieces.

P1040454 (1024x768).jpg Head end softshackle and main suspension line are orange amsteel. (I like this picture because of the two pairs of feet.) The two halves of the head spreader are ready for re-connection. The gray amsteel is half of the ridgeline. The foot end ridgeline half is also gray. The two halves are connected by a black softshackle. If lines get twisted, disconnect softshackles, straighten lines, and re-connect. (Softshackles can be replaced by carabiners.)

Those of you who saw this hammock at MAHHA will remember that I had a fork in my back pocket when I sat in it. I have patched the small tear that started where the tines penetrated the fabric. I suggest 1.9 oz fabric for PBH variants. Squidmark, use appropriate caution.

It causes great sadness to have something sharp in a pocket when getting in a hammock. I am glad you made a repair. I am going to have to make one of your PBHammocks, WV. It was so comfortable. There is nothing else like it.
    I sew things on youtube.
I don’t sew on commission, so please don’t ask. Thanks.

If you're going to use any sort of bridge hammock, you'll need to stop sitting on the edge of your seat!

Oh I've mastered that technique. The trick is to have the hammock juuust low enough, and no more.

It arrived about 2 days ago but I didn't get to pay too much attention to it till yesterday afternoon. Will need to compare your notes above with what I've figured (or think I've figured) out so far. No doubt I'll have a few questions.

I did take some detail photos which I'll post later with some questions.
