So, I recently started making whoopie slings, and from what I've seen, it's not terribly common to have a fixed brummel loop on both ends, the loop is often on only one end.
It seems to me you get a much larger effective adjustable length if you can use either end as an anchor, which means using 12'6" of rope, I get an adjustable length of 22" - 125". I'll post my math below. Going from 22" to 125" would only mean changing the fixed loop you connect to, if that makes it more clear. Below is the "math" I used, assuming 6" buries and 12" constrictor.
loop + bury + space + constrictor
3" + 6" + 1" + 12" = 22", connected on fixed loop on bury side and whoopie loop
(12" for 3" loop plus bury)
loop + bury + line length until constrictor
3" + 6" + 116" = 125" or 10'5", connected to whoopie loop and fixed loop on free end
I'm sure I'm not the first to notice how much more versatile a whoopie is with a loop on both ends, is there a reason it's not more common? If needed I can post pictures when I get home showing what I'm talking about.
EDIT: Adding pictures

You can see the chair at the far end is in a different loop in each picture, and I didn't adjust the whoopie at all.
