Pick two, tie 'em together, and you're home.

Lot's of oaks and lots of pines (so you may want to bring rags to cover your tree straps to keep the pine sap off).

Yes dogs are allowed, but must be leashed at all times per park rules. No exceptions.

Nice. Is it possible to drive to some of the primitive sites to drop off gear and stuff?

This is the first thing we saw at the entrance to the primitive area:
Sertoma pic 4.jpg Sertoma pic 5.jpg
    So that's that I'm afraid.

When no one is camped in the primitive areas, there are trails that a 4-wheeler could have fun on, but not a regular car or truck. And when folks are camped in there, it's just too tight to let vehicles in, and the roads/trails aren't clearly marked. It would be really dangerous. So we're implementing a no-vehicles-in-the-"treed"-primitive-area rule. The field behind our pavillion is also identified as a "primitive camping" area because there's no power or water, but we'll be using the field for parking.

Thanks everyone for understanding and rolling with this.
