Due to the time to drive to this event, I must take a pass. I hope you all enjoy your event. I am sure all will have fun there. Flying there is not really an option I'd care to pursue either.

Does anyone know if the government shut down will be an Issue with the hang??? I live very close to the campground and some things that have been there did not go off very well. Will someone in the know kindly check in with the park and see if there is any problems. Thank you,

From what I read earlier in this thread we can have the event even if the campground isn't open. We will have to do "dispersed camping" and hike in about a mile. Sounds like an adventure to me. I'm not canceling my flight or car rental.
