The rain and wind passed through. Looking at the radar, Winds were at 62 knots, traveling at 71 mph. It was a fast moving storm. I didn’t see any follow up storm showers. We should be good to go.

Just watch for mosquitoes during the day.

I arrived at sundown, tired. Glad i got the tarp up before retiring. That was intense! Oregon’s famously rainy, but it’s more perma-drizzle, and lightning is rare. This was a firehose, lightning more than once every 5 sec for a long while. While my tarp didn’t leak, the spray in the air was so heavy all surfaces became wet. Now just waiting for drips to slow down to get up and scout now that i’m no longer racing darkness.

Rain passed through Tampa about an hour ago. It was a moderately heavy, but short (half-hour) band.

EDIT: Scratch that... it's still raining here. Just lighter than before. Enough to get soaked if you stand out in it. So... don't do that.

Driving to work this morning through it was fun. Was hoping to make it in before the band came through but that didnt happen. Dealing with sideways rain in the dark is always fun.

Not going to make it this year. Mom passed away and I have a lot of things to do with her estate. Very sad to miss this and spend time with y'all.
I know it will be good and a great time had by all!
