    Safety of trees is probably the hammock community's biggest issue! Without the trees most of us wouldnt have a limb to hang from....or a wood pole....I completely believe this discussion is right on track!

    Terrible news to hear. Here in Va at one of the science museums my adult daughter told me a story of kids doing an over night in the museum. Well a bunch of them were enoing and one girl had hers tied to some interior columns. unbeknown to her or any of the others was the fact that the columns were not fastened to the floor or ceiling and at some point tipped over landed on her and broke her pelvis.
