    Thanks everyone. I'm sure these suggestions will make more sense once I set the hammock up again and can see exactly what is being described. Weekend research trip.

    For what it's worth, I attach the UQ suspension only to the 2 pack hooks at the head and foot corners, closest to the ends. I do not use the end hooks opposite my feet and head, and I do not use any of the hooks that are generally used as tie outs. Just those 2 generally works for me.
