I have and use both the rolled hem feet and rolled hem attachments. I find the attachments much easier with our slick outdoor fabrics. I use 1/4" rolled hems on my tarps and the attachments work great in this application. For 1/2" rolled hems I prefer by hand using small wonder clips to gauge my folds.

You wonder why I love to sleep alone, in the woods, in a hammock.. I wonder why you don't...

I have tried the feet too, hated it. Maybe I will look into the hem attachment

Last weekend I tried a rolled hem foot. They are quite finiky to work with and take lots of practice to get the hang of. I personally decided against it as the hem it was making was much smaller than I wanted. I like a 1/2" rolled hem for my hammock sewing. The foot I was using only game me a 5mm hem. Super tiny. I'm sure that people there have uses for them. I dont.

Tiny hems are great for curves, like for the cat curves on a tarp.
