Well, between the hangovers and the cold, a few of us looked like death on Saturday.

    Hey! I resemble that!
Get lost in the woods and find yourself again. A vacation,to me, is working with your hands and surviving because of the fruits of your labor. In the business world I teach;in the natural world I learn.

I think the most likely to die is the fireplace itself... with that thing loaded to the edges and roaring away all weekend long I keep waiting for all that old mortar to just turn to dust.

Since nobody froze to death last year; we should probably start looking for a ground dweller for the Sunday morning sacrifice to the hammock gods.

I know one ground dweller, and he lives in Texas. Even if I could get him up here, we'd have to sacrifice him on Friday night, because I doubt he'd survive until Sunday.

Well a foot of snow and cancelled schools sure does get me excited but I’m wondering about shoveling out snow just to get stake to the ground. I may have to pull a Just Bill and say, “Tarps, I don’t need no stinkin’ tarp!”

Just remember: snow ain't rain and a bottle of scotch substitutes for stakes every time.

The hammock gods are pleased to do the dirty work.
And Mark can spit em up and cook em if the racoons don't carry the body away first.

Oh he's probably not good enough for the raccoons. I've heard they have expensive taste when it comes to the culinary experience.
