UPDATE - I know folks are eagerly awaiting some of the juicy details here, so I wanted to provide another quick update. We're currently in the process of filing a trademark application for this new fabric line. We're hoping to have that done early next week. After that, we'll be able to share more on what we're doing here .

Outside of that holding pattern, I do have some exciting news in that we're expecting to have sample yardage (at least 20 yds) come out of weaving in the next few days.... stay tuned!

It looks to me like it might not be as slippery as other fabrics, and hence easier to handle, seam, and sew?

Kyle, will I be able to see some at HangCon 2019?

My current hammock has an impending failure in it's near future do to some holes and stress stretches. I can't determine what material to go for and 1 more choice is just as good.
Enjoy and have fun with your family, before they have fun without you

Sorry for the delay guys. We want to get this out there too as we firmly believe it's going to be a game changing hammock fabric. We're just waiting for the Trademark app to be filed now. I know it bites to be waiting on paperwork, but it's just really important for us to protect the name and branding :/.

As soon as that's finished (hoping for this week), you'll be the first to know! Thanks so much for your patience.

Yes, always need to protect trademarks and patents. I'm thinking of a few DIY projects in the near future. Would love to try something new.
That material almost looks like the same used in the new Ninox (Flatlay) by SMR. It's supposed to have a newly designed fabric as well. Not sure if it is a US fabric or not since some of their products are made out of the country.
    Update ? ? ? ?

    Instagram post from yesterday says

"Did we say ONE new hammock fabric? I think we meant TWO . This one is going to blow some minds... trust us!!!
    .
ETA to launch 30 DAYS... Stay tuned."

So 30 days out from info I'd assume. I too am wanting to do another round of hammocks, but will likely wait to see what they have in store.
