Hi, I'm Will and I sleep in a hammock

    Hi all,

I've been a full-time hammocker (hammockite?) since the beginning of the year.

I'm about to embark on a two-month cross-country adventure and even though I've done this many times before, this time I'm not doing any beds along the way -- even if I stay with friends, I'm making arrangements to set up my hammock everywhere I stay. I find the longer I've been sleeping in the hammock, the worse I sleep in beds.

Glad I found this forum -- most everyone I know thinks I'm weird for loving the hammock.

    -Will

I have bad news for you, friend: it only gets worse. I went full-time May 2013. Last year I had to invent a portable stand if I wanted any "sleep security" when traveling, ever again. The good news is that the hammock gets EVEN MORE comfortable and comforting the longer you stick with it.

My apologies. It must be done however.

Yeah, and the hammock is much less expensive than that super pricey memory foam mattress, and more comfy. Beds have their place though.
