Phoenix
Incubator
Other
1. Which model is preferred if you have used both?
-Phoenix. Incubator if approaching 0.
2. Do you own one but wish you purchased the other and why?
- N/A
3. Better to own the incubator for shoulder season and Phoenix for summer, thoughts?
- Somewhat agree, but slightly lower temps. I use a Phoenix until the dead of winter. I'll sometimes even stack my 20 and 40 Phoenix quilts together instead of reaching for the incubator (this is usually when car camping) as I find I'm more comfortable with a 3/4 quilt. I feel like I get a more diagonal lay with a 3/4, and thus am flatter.
4. If you were to just select one for three season hammocking which model and temp would you now go with and elaborate on your decision?
- 20* Phoenix. Covers most 3 season stuff and is nice and packable. I also think 3/4 quilts are more comfortable than full length.
