Just take a mini Biner and do a few wraps of the ridgeline around it. Pretty sure I saw Professor Shug do it, and it just happened to work for me. Not sure how much shorter it made the RL, but it’s results are undeniable for me.

For me the key to a good (no - great!) sleep in my WBBB XLC is to make sure that my head is well towards the end of the hammock.
I find that putting my shoulders level with the logo patch is perfect.
While I generally do put the foot end higher than the head end, I find it's not so important.
I also find that my worst sleep in my XLC is still better than any night spent on the ground!
