Best hammock for (really) tall people

shoulder squeeze isn't even a possibility, and the new pad itself is 87 inches (over 7 feet)

I second this. We have a member “TooTall” , who I believe is 6’8” and he tried AzSteelman’s XL at the Arizona Fall Hang. He fit, I’m sure you would too. The Draumr is a fantastic hammock...

I've got a 12' long 58" wide Hexon 1.6 and a 12' 70" wide HyperD XL gathered end hammock. I'm 6'4" 215 lbs. Both are comfortable but the extra width on the XL gives me a better lay.

I've also pre-ordered the Draumr XL, primarily for my wife b/c she's a stomach sleeper & I can't get her to try a gathered-end hammock. At least that's what I've told her... (she wouldn't require the XL).
