Thanks for the link. Larger but rated to 50lbs? Don't like the tiny teeth that will shred the rope. Trying to find something that works like a dock cleat. Can do a cleat hitch in my sleep, won't slip and easy to adjust.

ETA: Those CamJams look interesting....not sure about quality.

    Well...always a timber hitch or trucker's hitch.

I personally think they're more suited to ridgelines than guylines, but if you want something a little larger than fleaz, without the toothy nature of a figure 9, maybe check out LoopAliens.

Another gadget that is not much larger than a Fleaz, but simpler in design is the Lawson Bar Tensioner.

I used figure 9 for a few years. They hold more then 50 pounds easy. The rope might slip at 50 but with a slippery hitch, if never had one slip.
They do wear line more, but i haven't seen it fray lash-it. Certinally wear the finish off though...

How do you think 1.75mm single braid dyneema would work with them?

ETA: maybe I should ask which line do you guys think would work best with the figure 9?

I hear good things about Nama Claws. I have some fleaz but I've never used them. I like the Stingerz.

The small size figure 9's work with any smaller diameter cordage I've tried them with, down to twisted mason line. I am not sure if they would work with something really small, like 1mm Dutchwire, but they definitely work with 1.75mm cord. They work really well with paracord, utility cord, 1.75mm Zing/Lash-It, and 2.2mm Zing/Lash-It. The toothy nature does wear at the cord, but it would take quite some usage before this would become a serious problem. As stated by someone else, after tightening and locking the cord in the teeth, tie a half hitch or slippery half hitch for security against any slippage.
