The temps have been ranging in the low-high 20's at night and low-mid 30's during the day....however it is at the base of Mt. Hood so weather can change quickly as we all know.....I use a 20 degree quilt set with a sock and I don't have any issues .....so far.
But I would just keep an eye on the weather as we get close to the hang
I also have other things such as extra clothing and extra dry socks....heck I even sleep in my down puffy from time to time...... but that depends on how much of the sauce I have in me before bed ....hehehehe
One other thing that I use and others do as well are heavy duty winter coveralls....they allow you to set around the fire and not worry about melting from sparks and you stay nice and toasty....
Also your car is not that far away so you can bring a lot of gear with you......I always make multiple trips back and forth.....hope that helps

Here is a list of Sno-Park Permit vendors. You can get one at any Bi-Mart.

I was just asking what map you used for this. Looks like it may have been from an app.

We are planning to join you guys. We are fairly new to hammocks and haven’t camped in the snow yet. So excited!

I have been thinking on how to respond to your question and......
I have seen how hangs can grow to a point where they lose their connection with the members....and that happens for many reasons....so with that being said.... I think that we should keep it in the hammock forum community..... but still PLEASE bring ANYONE you would like .....ALL are welcome!!!!
