I’ve been using something similar for a year and a half. Redid the siding on a house, and an orange mule like tape was holding it together. It’s thin, strong, and durable. Contractor said he reuses it all the time. To each his own, but it’s worked well for me. Good luck.

10 to 1 safety factor is good- now to test the--- MSH, becket hitch, J-bend, dutchware buckles, etc. I wonder how bad creasing of the strap will be after being loaded.
I find it online for .14/ft. If you order a big spool, which you actually have to order two at a time, it costs .10/ft. Plus shipping.
