Just do not hang any higher than you are willing to fall and it should work just fine.

I’ve been using something similar for a year and a half. Redid the siding on a house, and an orange mule like tape was holding it together. It’s thin, strong, and durable. Contractor said he reuses it all the time. To each his own, but it’s worked well for me. Good luck.
Crayons - they might look different, but they all taste the same

I always laugh when people talk about what's "safe" when hammocking. If you're not over a cliff, I think a good lesson and a little knowledge is worth a little bruise on your butt.

That's the stuff I found online. The orange stuff. The 3/4" is rated to 2550#. From what I could find anyways. I can't find the exact stuff I have though. I hope they can answer my bizarre questions this morning at the lumber yard!

10 to 1 safety factor is good- now to test the--- MSH, becket hitch, J-bend, dutchware buckles, etc. I wonder how bad creasing of the strap will be after being loaded.

I find it online for .14/ft. If you order a big spool, which you actually have to order two at a time, it costs .10/ft. Plus shipping.
