Beautiful UGQ Custom Stacking Zeppelin UQ Set (40+20=0, 3/4)

This set consists of a 48" wide 3/4 length 40 degree, and a 44" wide 7/8 length 20 degree - this is the only underquilt set you will need for all 4 seasons!

In the summer, use the 40. In the spring/fall, use the 20. In the winter, you can stack them! The extra width of the 40 allows it to wrap around the 20 degree perfectly without compressing it, while the extra length of the 20 means everything seals up nicely and you stay warm. I asked Paul & crew to add the dual pack hook mod on both sides of the 40 deg quilt so you can connect the quilts at your shoulder to ensure a great fit in either lay direction (this is an exposed section of the primary shock cord, not the hook option currently offered). Perfect for anyone who backpacks for 3 seasons and only car camps during the winter. FWIW, from a warmth perspective I am unable to tell a difference between these quilts stacked and my 0 deg Zeppelin, had them stacked at -5F and was toasty!!

Both outers are robin egg blue, the 40 has yellow inner with red stitching, the 20 has red inner with yellow stitching. I've upgraded the stock shock cord in each with ext. length colored 1/8" shock cord to fit longer hammocks and to match the inner color - they look sharp!

Quilts have always been stored hanging in a dry, smoke free house, and both come with stuff sacks. Got them with an intention of having a set for friends and family to use in a pinch, but that hasn't come to pass and I need the funds for other things. No rips, stains, or blemishes. I've used them stacked twice, the 40 deg has been used solo once, and the 20 deg has been used solo 4 or 5 times. They're as good as new without the wait, also note that the 48" wide option is no longer offered by UGQ.

I will follow up later with actual weights and pictures.

    Yours for $450 shipped CONUS.

Looks like a nice setup. How long is the 7/8 length? Do you still need a pad or something to insulate feet?

Sorry, didn't get a reply notice for some reason.

The 40 deg 3/4 is 55" long, the 20 deg 7/8 is 66" long - gives a little more neck and calf coverage and helps to create a better seal when the quilts are stacked. I'm tall (6'5") and use 3/4 length quilts exclusively (for fit & packability) so I tend to use a foot pad if it's cold, but if you sleep on your side or with your legs curled it may not be necessary.
