I recently bought a Dutchware Half-Zipped in Hexon 1.6. I had slept in an ENO doublenest for 5 years prior, and even though Iím 6í1, 230, I have always slept well in it. However, another 18 inches of hammock and the Hexon 1.6 were wonderful on the first two nights of use. Regarding the question about ordering it with no suspension, thatís what I did. It just came with continuous loops. However, I immediately decided to change suspensions. I love daisy chain, but itís heavy. I decided to order Dutchís spider web daisy chain. Itís insanely light (1/3 the weight of poly chain such as Atlas Straps). With it I ordered Dutchís Mantis hooks on continuous loops and just slipped the original loops out and slid the new ones in in seconds. Canít wait to try them.

This is exactly my experience too. Also, my Hexon 1.0 seems to create a lot of static electricity in the winter where the Argon 1.6 does not.
You will need 2 continuous loops. Just order some amsteel and make your own - Lots of youtube videos on how to make them.

Static!! Now I remember that being one of the reasons why I sold mine almost immediately. That, and the light fabric just seemed sloppy.

Iíve tried a 1.0 and have two Dutch hammocks in 1.6. I actually like the stretch of the 1.0 better but just found myself with the 1.6: one was a resell and the other I got for a winter hammock so I wanted a little less stretch.

What I noticed is it seems to depend on whether you like your bed soft or firm. If you like a soft bed, the 1.0 might be better. If you like firm mattresses, go for the 1.6.

I will be ordering a netless 1.0 in the spring for my minimalist setup.
