Now that I’ve learned how to use a sewing machine, I can see how quickly something like this can be made. I was wondering about leaving the top flap loose, easy enough to tack it down if it didn’t work.

    Thanks for the feedback!

Whoopies stay with the hammock. Straps and carabiner go in a bag with my stakes. However, in order for a faster setup, I just ordered Ti Dutch cinch buckles and Dutch clips. That will all stay in the bishop bag. I'll probably have to carry a ziplock bag if I hang on a pine so I don't get sap on the hammock.

Sure.. you can do that. Easy enough to make. You can use a tyvek envelope to sew one up and it will last long enough to see if you like using it...
Yes, my pack weighs 70lbs, but it's all light weight gear....

    Oh yes please!

Oh, and I finished putting together a copy of your suspension system with the EVO Loops, looking forward to a trial run this weekend.

Awesome! I'm real happy with that setup.

I'll get the dimensions for you.

I don’t know if it’s actually released yet but Sierra Madre was promotion a double ended stuff sack with their new ninox hammock. On both ends there are two different cinches one on the interior and one in the end. They claim that the small pocket is waterproof from the hammock.

I have two stuff sacks like that... there is a large primary section closed off by a drawstring, leaving collar that creates a separate secondary section with its' own drawstring. Nice idea for RL's that stay attached to the tarp.
