    Greetings from ATL

I'm a former BSA Leader, I've switched from tents to hammock recently and enjoy the ease and comfort of hammocks. My first was an ENO, it was okay as hammock go. I've tried the REI Quarter Dome Air Hammock, and wasn't happy with it, and have traded it in for the Flash Air Hammock, I'm anxious to give it a try soon. I also acquired an ENO under quilt for colder nights.
I'm always looking for new ideas and ways to lighten up my pack, so any advice is welcome.

Welcome to Hammock Forums. You should have joined earlier as you will soon learn that our cottage vendor hammocks are superior to the mass market hammocks. Check out Warbonnet if you like the bridge style hammocks which many of us do. Check out Warbonnet, DutchWareGear, Hammock Gear, SimplyLightDesigns, and many others for some very comfortable gathered end hammocks.

Welcome! Glad you joined, it will open up your hammock world to more than those that are in stores like the ones you purchased so far.

Welcome richs! You'll find all kinds of great cottage vendor gear here. Like TrailSlug mentioned it is far superior to the big box stuff. You can also use this forum to find group hangs in your area. You can learn a ton from attending a group hang plus you just might meet some awesome new friends.

    Greetings from ATL

A new hanger here in Buford.

I see hammock camping versus ground pounding like using a bidet versus smearing yourself like a savage.

    Take to the trees!

Welcome from another ENO hanger in south Georgia. Daggerati, I lived in Hog Mountain and remember when there was a two lane from 324 to I 85.

    Greetings from ATL

Indeed...I'm an Atlanta native, so I've definitely seen the landscape change, drastically, in the last 30 years for sure. Everything OTP was the sticks... literally.
