    Hey there Soulis,
Glad to have you on the forum. I've been to Finland twice in my life. I visited Turku while I was staying with friends in Helsinki. I love Finland. I remember many, many lakes, Finnish Saunas, Pea soup on Thursday's, mid summer celebration, and traveling all over Helsinki on the marvelous tram system. A friend of mine sent my wife and I a reindeer skin for a wedding present. Someday I hope to go back. If you ever get on this side of the pond, be sure and let us know.

Welcome to the forum. Send us some pics once you get your hammock and are camping. Polluting the wilderness is a world wide problem.

Hi welcome to HF! Great hockey players in the NHL from Finland. Just in the Carolina Hurricanes alone, we have Pitkanen, Jokinen, and Ruutu. Fun to watch.

now i can realy start my DIY projects coz finally i did get sewing machine. Sunday i was in kind of fleemarket trade fair and there it was old sewing machine from year 1960. Then i start bargain with seller and he did get enough and sold that machine to me only for 5€ (normal fleemarket price is somewhere in 50€ and up). today finally it starts to work right only minus is that there was not footbedal at all so have to make one by my self

if you can make a foot pedal for a 'gear construction' machine, you will have few problems with the projects on this site- Go for it!(and welcome to the group of comfortable hikers!)
