    Footbox "blanket"

I wonder if any of our vendors has or can design and make a sort of cover that would slip over the footbox of the TQ? Many of us have nice warm TQ with the exception that our feet still get cold. I know the ideas to remedy that issue but would it be a good idea if something thats lightweight down could be slid over just the footbox of the TQ? Maybe something like this exists already?

Nice idea!! Seems it would be easy to do as well. They'd just have to find a way to keep it from sliding off during the night. If my feet get cold I sometimes use my jacket over my foot box. I got that idea from Shug. Just zip it up and tuck your foot box into it from the waist end.

It's not a foot box cover but may fill the same function. I have been considering these in place of socks. My feet get cold when I wear socks because they retain moisture. These would be nice to put on after taking off socks that have been in boots collecting moisture.

The covers would easily make the multi functional.

Heat Holders Socks really work well for me. I use a Lite Pair in Spring and Fall and the heavy duty in Winter. Keep a fresh pair just for sleeping. They are not expensive either.

Just go to a thrift store and but an old down vest...sew the sleeves shut...zip it up and slide it over footbox. Done deal.

Never had cold feet with Goose Feet down booties, and using down jacket ala Shug to cover everything.

Not my original idea to do that. Used to do it on my sleeping bag in my tent days. Saw or read about it somewhere and just did it on hammock too.
    It always works.

The above suggestions (and of course your idea if big enough) should all work fine. But since I take a puffy (usually UL Montbell down) anyway, simply stuffing it into the footbox is unbelievably warm.
