Are the bathrooms and showers available?
Suppose to be available. Just got off the phone with the Park and my POC there is going to contact the Park Superintendent and let me know. Worse case is we have to use the restrooms at Family campgrounds. Was told that it is dead today at park because of storm moving in.

Update....we will have access to the restrooms at the group site.

    Son of a b****. I'll be in NH that week...my grandmother's 102nd birthday
You could always invite granny to the hang.... I think it is more important that you attend your grandmothers b'day. You can always take your gear to NH and camp out there one night

Seeing how the only UQ I have right now is a 20 degree...and the average overnight low in northern NH Whites at my aunt's house is zero...I think not. I would literally have a frozen butt!

    OK, I'm in.

I'm in DIY mode for a new Winter UQ. I just needed an excuse.
I'm making arrangements for someone to look after the mutt and sourcing coffee if there's enough people. If not it's everyone for themselves.

7.5 Apex Climashield. That should take me to 10°. As always I'll have my trusty old Thermarest Pro to use as needed. I hope to have it done soon to test.

I have made several Climashild quilts. Fairly easy to work with. Just remember to allow for the extra sea, allowance you will need when sewing

This will be my second Climashield UQ. https://www.hammockforums.net/forum/...ht=steelplayer I made a summer UQ with 3.6 Climashield (rated to 40°) that I used at the Hunger Hang. I was good down in the 30's when I added a pad. I don't like adding the pad but it definitely extends the temp range for me. I'm on 2 blood thinners so I sleep a little cold. I think I'll be comfortable into the 20's with 7.5.

My first UQ I made following Kyle Bakers design https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/02...33408934924366

I'm going to try the design by Dutch for a 3/4 and just extend it to a Full. https://dutchwaregear.com/2016/06/09...ld-underquilt/

I like the idea of using fabric channels rather than sewing in the grosgrain. Also the dutch design uses a full lengthwise channel. It wont be as adjustable but once you get it fitted where you need it you shouldn't have to do that much adjusting. I also ordered some Tato Quilt Hooks that should help with keeping the quilt in place. I'll post pics in the DIY section when I get started on it. The materials were ordered today.
