Looks great, Is it tight in there, not much move around room is it?
I've got more pics..I'll post soon. I originally just used the zipper as a way to slide the hammock thru. Since then I modded the "hole in the bag", which allows for more coverage. And twisting the zipper the top gives the hood of my mummy bag a better fit for laying asym.
The downfall of this set-up for me is:
Weight and bulk. Big, full size bag doesn't pack small.
Does restrict the overall comfort of the hammock, as the sleeping bag confines the ability of the hammock to spread out some.
Benefits:
Cost. It was a bag I already had.
If I was forced to the ground, I have a usable bag.
It is very adjustable, open the zip to vent (both foot or head end), loosen the hang cords for vent. If its really cold, I can spin the whole set-up a little, which brings the hood totally up top.
Ambulo tua ambulo.
Today's pics:
GargSB final 015.JPG Showing full head coverage. Notice how the hood wraps the noggin'.

GargSB final 010.JPGAdjustable generic clip and mod for grosgrain. I did the same mod at two point on the hood. At the other end, I just clipped on a 'biner.
GargSB final 008.JPGAnd the whole system. Tying up the bag prevents it from sagging to the ground. Pad and fleece in hammock.
My original post.

Love your work....what's next?

For a better asymetrical hang, could the bag hole at the foot-end be put in over to one side rather than centered?
That's what I did. I placed the hole lower than center, to allow for more foot room up top.
I like Boyscouts idea with the drawcord, if I use mine as a regular SB, its a little drafty. But a shirt or something stuffed down there helps.
Boyscout, in your pics, see how the bag droops underneath, add some elastic shockcord for a suspension. That gap will make thing really drafty. The elastic will pull the SB up tighter, keeping heat in.
Nice work by the way. Is that your sewing?
Ambulo tua ambulo.
I will give your ideas a try. yes its my sewing i had to hand sew it because of how accurate i had to be. i had to sew right on the edge of the webbing to have room for the draw cord. It took about 2 hours to do it right. thanks for the complements.
