I did my first hammock night at Blue Jay last night. I had the whole place to myself or so I thought. The sound of a car wakes me up at midnight. 49 empty campsites and this guy pics the one right next to me to spend the night. Kind of creeped me out and had a bit of trouble falling back to sleep. Besides that it went pretty well. Learned some stuff. Thanks again for the recommendation.

That's like choosing the urinal right next to someone when there are 49 empty ones available.

I was so bummed when I saw the dates for the group hang. I’m going to be out of town and won’t be able to make it. I’m going to the BWCA in May and I would have liked to have seen how the experts hang before taking my new gear into the wilderness. I’m hoping to join in on the next one!
