Thumbs up New White Cloud TQ

Just got the opportunity to test out my new White Cloud top quilt. Was quite warm and toasty during a foggy and damp night in the woods. The quilt has excellent construction and the service has been top notch. Thanks for everything.

I have suspected this might be a great TQ. What kind of temps did you have in the fog?

According to the thermometer on my ridge line, it bottomed out at 42 F.

42F in the fog can sometimes be a challenging temp even for quilts rated lower, especially if it is for multiple nights and you have to pack up damp to get going. Glad to hear you were toasty!

I had a LocoLibre Cayenne Pepper UQ (don't make them anymore) and a Dutchware Summer Sock.

What is your overall impression of the TQ? Sounds like build quality is excellent and seems to be a good value - anything you wish it had and it didn't?

I really like the top quilt. This is my first top quilt, however, so I do not have anything with which to compare. I really like the no-fiddle factor of the foot box compared to other top quilts that have the drawstrings or snaps. I am a somewhat restless sleeper with my legs, but it was really easy to take a foot out of the footbox and put it back in.

That's awesome - once you go the TQ route, it's hard to ever want to use a bag again.
