Me, right now waiting for my new HG hammock coming tomorrow, watching Shug videos when this topic popped up on my screen

Here’s my setup. Only one really big tree in my backyard so I use the corner of fence and it works great. I spend about 15-20 nights a year out here but mostly in the winter. Winter is what we are missing right now in South Western Ontario. Please bring the snow on!

I use the T-Dog stand and/or some quick growing Leyland cypress trees in my backyard from which I have pruned the lower branches to make it hammock friendly. I do use a tarp underneath as several birds nest in the trees, and like to use me for target practice.

My New Years resolution so far is to do more hanging outside of my backyard however. Last year was more or less a bust for hanging outside my backyard, although I did have fun hanging at Lake George last year in spite of the rain, thanks to my well protected hammock, and a large fire to keep warm (upstate NY is pretty chilly even in July).
