This sounds delightful, as long as there isn't a requirement to actually CATCH fish,

HaHa--no requirement to catch anything. There will be lessons in Tenkara fly fishing as well as regular fly fishing plus a bunch of other activities. Fishing gear will be provided for those taking the lessons if you don't have your own gear.

Sounds awesome, but the 9 hours from PA is a bit prohibitive.

That could occur, depending on your fishing skills. I'm packing some cans of Tuna, just in case.

On my calendar yet again. Hope to be well enough to go. As a certfied Fly Fly Casting/Fishing Instructor, I would love to go just to fish, and to learn more about Tenkara. I won a nice Tenkara rod at the Lobster and Lighthouse Hang raffle three years ago! Learned to tye a couple of the Tenkara Flies then, but haven't fushed them yet. Hopefully this year!

Looking at a trip to combine PA spring turkey hunting with fly fishing. Never hunted turkeys, been away from the fly rod for way too long and new to hammocks. Should be a great trip. If the Maine trip us an annual thing, I’ll have to get a gang together for a future trip.
