Shug...another great video...great entertainment, great picking, and great information. I think if my GF watches enough shug videos she may try out hammocking . Some questions on your adjustable ridgeline though. Instead of useing surgical tubeing you just used elastic/bunge cord. Then bunched up the rope in the middle and tied the bunge to the rope. This keeps the tension on the tarp? Any DIY instructions? Thanks again shug, and ya know, the more information you teach to me the more questions I come up with...

Hiking is'ent about waiting for the storm to pass its about learning to hike in the rain.

USING A MARLIN HITCH FOR TYING TO THE TARP STAKES!!!

    To quote Homer: DOH!!

Thanks for pointing out what should have been painfully obvious to me! Camp set up just got easier!

It's the little tidbits that make me keep watching. Well, that and: the big bits-o-info, the sillyness, the views in "the piny woods".

Keep em coming, I am learning just how much I don't know.

After Shug makes three more of these he can string them all together and have a feature-length movie dedicated to hammocks and tarps.

I wonder if Blockbuster or Netflicks would carry it?

I enjoyed it! ...but my beagle who was sleeping against my thigh when I started the video on my lap top got up during the rap and moved to the other side of the couch.

Another good production Shug. I watch these as Im working... Helps pass the time.

Just want to make a clarification.... The tubing I use for the tensioners is Silicone tubing. It is not effected by the cold. Unless its getting close to -100. If you are out and its around -100... I want to see the vid!!!
