Need help sealing needle holes in membrane 10 down quilt

So I have been working on my first top quilt using membrane 15 & 10 fabrics from RSBTR, with down from Allied Linens waiting in the wings to fill. It has been going well and I am enjoying the DIY challenge. I am at the point in the quilt making where the baffles are sewn onto the outer shell layer and I am sewing them to the inner shell to complete each baffle. Although I had been being mindful of keeping the fabric rolled up under the machine arm securely out of the way, I accidentally let some slip under the presser foot and had to rip out about 6 inches of seam across the inner layer of the quilt fabric. It is on a chamber section where there won't otherwise be any stitches.

It was a definite bummer and I want to be sure I don't overdo it on trying to get the holes sealed up to prevent down leakage. I am wondering if a few minutes in the dryer on low will close them up without risk of damaging the quilt. Otherwise I could cut small strips of tenacious tape and seal them inside before filling with down. Obviously my preference would be to avoid a patch repair like that before the quilt is even finished.

Here are a couple of pics of the quilt baffle layouts in process before I started joining the inner and outer layer.

Needle holes in any fabric generally close up once you launder the item. I'd do that, or steam iron the area. If you wash the shell before stuffing you should be good.

My "oops" wasn't as long, maybe 1.5". I popped a little tenacious tape on it from the inside.

I'd try steaming it if you have a steamer, or you might try an iron with steam on the lowest setting and something like a cotton t-shirt in between the MEMBRANE and the iron. If all else fails, I'd dab on some seam sealer on the inside. Whether you use seam seal or tape, it will show through that shade of MEMBRANE, but is just a minor aesthetic factor.

You could also try massaging the area with a finger- sometimes this works. I would also use a finer thread and smaller needle on lightweight fabric= smaller holes.

I use the above technique first to repair needle punch holes. I seem to make at least one booboo per down quilt. Of the 15 quilts I have made, none of them have leaked down.

My first quilt with synthetic filler I accidently cut a slash in, I repaired the slash with Tenacious tape. The patch has held for the psst 8 or 9 years. The drawback is the fact the repair is bulky. Okay but not as nice as I would like.

Thanks to all who replied with all of the options.

I am going to try in this order before filling with down:
    1. Rub out with fingernail pressure
    2. Iron on lowest steam setting through a cotton t-shirt
    3. Launder quilt shell before filling

I suspect one of those will work, but if not I will go with tape or seam seal from the inside.
