By this are you speaking to the chords at the draft collars? I think this might have been a part of my original issue. The fear of having a draft probably has me over-tightening. So; snug but with no gaps.

So two things here. First, can you speak to the length of the primary suspension? On my 11 foot Cham. I'm having to pull a good amount and to the point it feels like its too tight to begin with, let alone needing any adjustment at all. Is this intended? I've had a great setup even with the primary at its loosest setting but it always felt tight.
Second; awesome note about using a guyline on the shoulder hook, I'll have to try that out!

Again, thank you for the service and product you provide!

Yes that is correct, the draw cords running left/right at the head/foot of the quilt. As for suspension length it varies based on diameter of suspension. The quilts typically ship with correct length for up to 11' hammock, it will be a firm pull when BRAND NEW as just like a rubber band the shock cord will need to be used quite a bit to make it relax. Typically I do not adjust the primary on an 11' hammock and it seems to be just about right once you load it. Cold weather will cause the elastics to relax and then I will adjust the primary tighter if needed.

Thank you everyone who pitched in!
    Mystery solved: user error.
My second night was a little better with the primary on the loose end and the draft collars opened up a little.

Third night. A revelation. I had the secondary on the foot end set high against the lay direction. ***
    Third night was perfect!

Thanks to all of you and to the UGQ team for awesome customer service and a fantastic product!

Now excuse me while I go hide in a corner and pretend this thread never happened.

So to help keep the quilt in place, you can set the secondary suspension (the white chords) tighter corresponding to the direction you lay. Example: I sleep head left, foot right, so I set the right head end and left foot end tighter with the secondary suspension.

What I did wrong was set my head end and foot end tight on the same side so that the quilt was being pulled away from the side that my feet were point. Silly mistake.
