    looking for some materials

Doing some planning and I want to make sure I'm not overlooking a good better supplier.

Dyneema- the only place i can find to tell the fabric is thruhiker. That is a big one because it is pricey and their prices are usually high. I only go there when i don't have another choice such as Momentum90. So anyone know where to get Dyneema material for less then $23 a yard.

Trirings- I have gotten them from OWF in the past and they worked out well. They are nickle plated. Does that make them so they won't rust? Anyhow when brandon was using trirings his were a little whicker so i was wondering if there was another supplier.

Carbon fiber poles for spreader bars- Man these are really pricey. I think they will ultimately be out of my price range. I think I just need to buy a carbon fiber bike and cut it up. Anyone have a any place that sells carbon fiber poles for less then it cost to bribe a judge?

Length is a pole that comes apart in 2 piece and totals 32"
    width is around .625
Thickness isn't too important to me as long as it will work as a spreader bar.

    Plating

Nickel and chrome plating are used to prevent rust.

If you wanted to roll your own poles, I might be able to get you some carbon fiber. Let me know if you're interested, and I'll see what I can get.

Carbon fiber tubes/rods in small-ish diameters can often be found at Hobby shops that specialize in model aircraft, or kite stores...

    hope this helps...

Yeah...Macentyre and Hawk-eye were discussing them the other day...look for yard sale surf rods. Light and strong.
