The only (hmm... well one) issue with Becket is that it does not work Amsteel-on-Amsteel, which I employ in the hybrid setup that I am using. J-bend does work Amsteel/Amsteel.
UL, because nobody ever asks "How can I make my pack heavier?"

Lol, Derek Hansen is going to have to put the J-Bend in Ultimate Hang 3!

I think it will work if you use the backup shown in our Becket video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_c...&v=XA8xdm8LIs8

Tested this today and it did work, although a bit difficult to untie with Amsteel/Amsteel.

Got the 1.5 spider straps and set up my hammock a dozen times today practicing that becket Hitch. SOLD! Love the simplicity, easy to set up, strong hold, ultra light. Iím gonna stick with this knot for a few weeks to remember it and then Iíll test out that j bend. I do have to spread out the straps after using but thatís a small price to pay for all the benefits from using these straps.
