    These are always a good time. Can't wait until this one, and the ice breaker in April as well, at Jefferson Memorial Forest.

    I am already planning to go.to at least one in april, I am not sure which tho. There is the hike and hang in the gorge and medoc mtn in NC

    Seeing you're from London, are you familiar with the Sheltowee Camp, campground a few miles up the road from the dam on Laurel Lake? I'm going there for a bike race on April 13 and the event is staged there and I would like to hammock there, but the website doesn't have any really good pics of the sites to know which spot would be best so I could reserve something?
    I see a more primitive site about 5 miles up the road called Bee Rock that would probably work, but would prefer to stay at Sheltowee for logistics. Hoping you might know something or another recommendation around there to hammock?
    Just wanted to throw it out to you that Bee rock campground is closed till at least spring of 2020
