I keep checking for any hangs near me (which is tricky at the intersection of 3 regions), but never find one. So.... maybe we should put one together? Just gauging interest for something in NW Arkansas. It's a beautiful area with tons of national forest. Actual location and date to be chosen later by those interested in doing this, so let's get a discussion going if your nearby or would consider coming to NW Arkansas for a hang.
we used to have a couple a year then one a year and smokehouse always did a GREAT job putting them together, usually on the Buffalo river but moved to the Mulberry, last few lotta weather interfered. Mike got very ill and hasn't been able to last couple years. AAll that said there are a lot of hangers in Ar and surrounding states that came and I think would again. I'm in if you start putting one together. Glad your interested in doing so. I'd think Fall would be a good time frame. Anyway just my thoughts.

I'm thinking near the Arkansas/Missouri/Oklahoma line to hopefully combine the 2 threads I have going into 1 hang across 3 regions and draw more people (We can call it the 3-Regions Hang?), and perhaps late May or early June if that isn't too soon. Open to suggestions though and aiming for a group-planned event or to spur someone else into putting one together as I don't really know what I'm doing, lol

Would be interested in attending as well. The one planned for last spring at Redding Campground was a dud. It’s a great place for hanging though, lots of trees, showers and of course the Mulberry River.
I'm in Northern LA. I'd certainly like to be kept informed. Looking to get some more experience (total newb).
