    PCT 500 mile stretch

Hey guys! My friend and I plan on trekking through central California this summer on the infamous PCT. I'm a little apprehensive to take my hammock because I'm unsure whether or not there will be any trees to hang around on. Does anyone have any experience from Kennedy meadows to North Cal. that could offer some advice? I hate sleeping in my tent now, and would rather take my hammock, but if I have to I guess I will. Thanks to all who reply!

i have hunted and fished poth sides of the pct when you get north of hwy 4. there are trees to be found, but depending on the elevation of the trail it could take some looking.
