Tab in center of tarp under ridgeline

Never seen this in any Warbonnet tarp I've had (5 in total) but my buddies Thunderfly has a tab in the center top of tarp. Came like this as you see.

Sometimes folks pay extra to have a tab installed to hang a light or a net.

It's for the center pole mode.

You bet you can under Custom Tarps on Warbonnet site......https://www.warbonnetoutdoors.com/pr.../#fabric-color
Start filling in all the drop-down boxes..ie, fabric, color, length then you can choose center pole mod.

Yup, it looks exactly like the center pole mod that I ordered with my MountainFly. If you don’t have the pole pockets to complete the mod, then it’s probably for hanging a light.

Maybe they went to add a pole mod and realized it was the wrong tarp. Doesn't have the center pockets. Cool little feature though.
