    Reveille! Missed you - and you were clearly on the right side of the law at the LL hang when you welcomed the day. The croaking codger screaming at 3 something in the morning Sunday clearly was not.

    Croaking codger - is that like pony-tailed bald man?

    Use another big word - be crusty - it becomes you. How about curmudgeon? Or croaking curmudgeon?

    Sorry, I have my limits. I can't take Elvis and Suspicious Minds blaring at 3:00 am in the morning. Especially the live version.

    @greatbigdave
    Just wanted to thank you
    When I met u you used an pad on your camp chair
    I went out after that weekend and purchased one for my camp chair
    Works awesome
    And
    This weekend I was in pines and unpacked my gear and I left my underquilt home
    I used the pad in its place and a wool blanket
    It wasn't perfect but sure made the 10* temps and 40mph winds tolerable
    Thanks again for the idea
    Also here are some pics of the same stand with tarp
