    Shifting down evenly

Curious what you guys are looking for in making sure your down is even accross your quilts. How are you shifting it around and what tells you a spot needs more vs is acceptable?

After unpacking, I hold the quilt at arms length. Then start frailing both arms like a Vege-matic to plump up the quilt. My solution to shifting is to fill it with enough down such there is no shift. I love that Michelin man, marshmallow look!

I like to think my +1oz overfill on every quilt is why I never really have to mess with shifting down manually. I'm a believer!

Never really had a problem with it. Just shake the quilts a bit and pat it around with my hands if it looks a little uneven.
