List of past seminal threads?

What about having a sticky thread with a list of links to the most interesting past threads of this community ? I am a rather recent member, but some of the "old timers" could and sometimes do excavate gold.
Just a thought, so this information is not lost forever.
I know one could search the forum, but most of the time, I find I am not really searching for anything in particular, but would enjoy having a source of interesting reading at hand.

There isn’t one, and likely no one will maintain one. So I offer this workaround hack:

You can search the forum by number of replies. Do this and ignore all of the “local meetup” and “video” threads. Usually anything gets talked about to death in a single thread and the number of replies is a good indicator.

No one needs to maintain that, I think. The old timers could just post a few links indicating the main topic the thread is about. I know One Click posted a few a while ago about wintercamping with posts by Cannibal.
This could be like the "Awesome pictures" thread.
