Im new to hammocking but have camped on and off throughout life. Id love to meet some like minded folks and go for a hang.

I see your near Tulsa. Put something together at a good location in NE Oklahoma and I would come down there. March was still a bit cold for me, but it's definitely hammock weather now....
Sorry to have taken so long to answer, been away from computer out of state. You just missed a good time at the spring rendezvous, but the guys want to make it annual event and possibly add a fall event. Keep an eye on HF for details as they develope. I am currently researching a place for the next event. A number of the group like to backpack and kayak. Wouldn't be surprised to see something pop up. I will admit that the majority agree, camping in the heat of summer sucks. But we still have a little time.
