Siloam Springs State Park - March 19-21

Midwest hangers - firecaptain53 and I are going to meet at Siloam Springs State Park(park info) in west-central Illinois on Friday, March 19th. If anyone would like to join us for all or part of the weekend you're welcome to meet us there.

We plan to backpack to their backcountry camp sites and stay through Sunday morning. It's a few mile hike to the camp sites and there is a creek nearby. Saturday will be spent lollygagging and probably a dayhike around the park to check out the lake.

I'll look at the dates for this one. Looks like fun and I'd like to try and make it. It's about 4 hours from here. I'll see if I can recruit a buddy or two.

I sure wish i could but headed SW to the Ozark hang this weekend and doing another on the following weekend is out of the question. Hopefully another time.

I use a single, long tube. I found it easier to use. Anyway, I do have an extra that I'll bring along for you to try out.
