Just because it doesn't seem to get much respect - I always liked that HH Classic entry too. No zippers to snag, no having to contort to reach and close zippers. Just a little pressure on a leg, sit up, stand up, pull the tarp over my head. Reverse to get in - no moving parts (except me). But I haven't liked it enough to have 2QZQ add it to my other hammocks.

You may still get some condensation on the pad when using fleece on top of it, but the fleece will provide a buffer between that condensation and your TQ/SB. I used a flannel ccf cover for years - the flannel would be damp in cold weather, but my sleeping bag perfectly dry.

I agree cougarmeat, I got my HH Classic in about 2006 and still use it often (last night in fact on a perfect 40F night). I find it very comfortable if you hang it with the ridgeline a little slack. I never liked it for hot summer nights, but for the rest of the seasons it does very well.
